Based in a magnificent Victorian power station adjacent to Hoxton Square, we involve thousands of people in the creation and performance of circus arts every year. Over half of the annual income needed to run Circus Space comes from grants and donations.

Our diverse range of work includes the UK’s only BA Hons degree in Circus Arts, a structured progressive training programme for under 18s and professional development opportunities for aspiring and established performers. Adults and young people can take part in a range of recreational classes and we provide workshops and away days for the business community.

undisclothed asked: Hi, I'm hoping to apply for a degree in Circus Arts in 2013. I was wondering if you still offer the chance to 'be a student for a day'? Also, my main skill is Hula hoop, is this something I can specialise in at Circus Space or it more aerial focused? Thank you.

    Answer:

    Hi,

You can indeed specialise in hula hoop on the degree - take a look at some of our previous hula hooping students here: http://circusspace.tumblr.com/tagged/hula-hoop

We will be running sessions which will let prospective students find out more about being a student here (‘Open Day’ and ‘Be a student for the day’) in the spring next year. Keep an eye on our blog, website, twitter or facebook for more details as the dates haven’t been set yet.

If you have any questions about the degree programme you can always contact our degree team - degree@circusspace.co.uk

    Thanks,

    Circus Space
