Calling all trapeze, acrobatic tumbling and acrobalance teachers - Circus Space is recruiting for teachers to deliver training as part of its Participation and Outreach programme
Circus Maximus is the UK’s first circus competition.
The aim is simple: to showcase the very best of UK circus talent, to give the audience an exciting, entertaining and unique night out, and to award one exceptional act with a cash prize and the opportunity to develop a show with Underbelly Productions and Circus Space.
The competition will run for the first time in May 2013 as part of the Udderbelly Festival at Southbank Centre. The winning act recieves a cash prize of £5,000, two weeks free rehearsal space at Circus Space, and a first look agreement with Underbelly Productions.

Take Your Seats! - highlights
This summer our BA Hons and Postgraduate Degree students performed their final ensemble piece at the National Theatre’s Inside Out Festival. Directed by James Doyle-Roberts, the show was inspired by the iconography of the G20 political summit.

London Youth Circus and Circus Space Degree alumnus Nathan Price ran a four day long acrobatic ensemble workshop for a group of acrobats and dancers. On the final day they performed the short piece that they had been working on.
