Our 3rd year devised pieces is composed of individual performances from each of the 3rd year students, with interlinking sections performed by an ensemble of 1st year students. This year the links have been directed by Peta Lily

Take Your Seats!
During the day Circus Space BA and Postgraduate degree students rehearsed live in Theatre Square, outside the National Theatre on London’s Southbank.
At 6.30pm they performed the first extract from Take Your Seats! directed by James Doyle-Roberts.
3rd year BA Hons and Postgraduate Degree students will be performing their ensemble show at the National Theatre’s Watch This Space Festival from 29 June - 1 July. We spoke to the director, James Doyle-Roberts about the rehearsal process, the themes of the show and the challenges in creating outdoor performance.

It’s nearly time…
The stage is being rigged as we speak, rehearsals are continuing apace and the first short extract will be performed outside the National Theatre at 6.30pm on Wednesday.
Rehearsals for ‘Take Your Seats!’ - the Circus Space BA and Postgraduate ensemble directed by James Doyle-Roberts - are currently taking place at the Hangar in London.
